Are you an experienced Communications and Marketing Manager with a strong track record of leading teams and creating structure within a busy working environment? We are recruiting for an experienced manager to join an established organisation on a temporary basis, with a key focus on team leadership, workload management and embedding effective processes and standards.
In the Communications & Marketing Manager role, you will be:
- Leading, managing and motivating a high-performing communications and marketing team
- Supporting the team to effectively manage workloads, priorities and competing demands
- Managing team resources to ensure a high-quality and consistent service
- Implementing effective planning frameworks and workflows
- Developing and embedding clear service standards and governance
- Producing and embedding team operating procedures and clear ways of working
- Managing demand from stakeholders and ensuring expectations and priorities are effectively communicated
- Establishing clear communication protocols across the team and wider organisation
- Supporting the delivery of communications and marketing plans, campaigns and projects
- Working with stakeholders to ensure effective and consistent communications across the organisation
To be successful in the Communications & Marketing Manager role, you will need:
- Proven experience of leading, managing and motivating high-performing teams
- Strong workload, resource and priority management skills
- Experience implementing planning frameworks, workflows and structured ways of working
- Experience developing service standards, governance and operating procedures
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to successfully manage competing demands
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to establish clear communication protocols and provide structure and direction
- A proactive, pragmatic approach with the ability to quickly make a positive impact
This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months initially, working 37 hours per week from Monday to Friday with a payrate of £22.50 per hour plus holiday pay.
The role will be based on a hybrid working arrangement, combining home working with the organisation's offices near Abergele.
