Are you a confident communicator with excellent customer service and administration skills? We have an exciting opportunity to join a busy Housing Register team as a Housing Register Advisor, providing advice and support to customers across North Wales.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking housing options advice and support. You’ll provide guidance, assess applications and work closely with other teams and agencies to help customers access the right services.
In the Housing Register Advisor role, you will be:
- Providing friendly and professional advice to customers by telephone and face-to-face
- Responding to housing enquiries, relocation requests and complaints
- Assessing applications for eligibility in line with policies and procedures
- Maintaining accurate customer and application records
- Liaising with other departments and external agencies to support customers
- Dealing professionally with enquiries from senior managers, elected representatives and members of the public
- Attending meetings and panels as required
- Produce reports and support the wider Housing Register team
To be considered for the Housing Register Advisor role, you will need:
- Previous customer-facing experience
- Strong administration and telephone skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- A calm, professional and empathetic approach
- Ability to handle sensitive and challenging situations
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
This is a full-time temporary vacancy, initially for around 6 weeks, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The role is office-based near Colwyn Bay and offers a pay rate of from £13.82 per hour, depending on previous skills and experience + holiday pay.
