We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join a well-established and innovative business, supporting laboratory operations and ensuring all quality standards, GMP guidelines and regulatory requirements are always maintained.
In the Quality Control Analyst role, you will be:
- Supporting daily quality control laboratory operations, testing activities and validation processes
- Ensuring all laboratory procedures, SOPs and GMP standards are followed accurately and consistently
- Completing laboratory documentation, records and logbooks promptly and accurately
- Reporting equipment faults, deviations, non-conformances and supporting investigations when required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, health & safety and environmental practices within the laboratory
- Supporting continuous improvement activities, stock control and wider production teams as required
To be considered for the Quality Control Analyst role, you will need:
- A Degree in a science-based subject, or equivalent internal training
- Previous experience within a Quality Control or laboratory-based role
- A good understanding of GMP, health & safety and environmental practices
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Experience using Microsoft Office packages
- A flexible and proactive approach to work
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
