Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Temporary Health and Safety Administrator for a dynamic team based near the lovely seaside town of Porthmadog, Gwynedd.   This is a fantastic opportunity to support a vital project while honing your skills in administration, data analysis, and health and safety processes.

You’ll be an integral part of the Health and Safety Project Team, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Document Management: Prepare and maintain records for training skills matrices, meeting reports, and data uploads
  • Data Analysis: Produce and interpret trends to aid decision-making
  • Minute Taking: Accurately document internal and external meetings
  • Induction Support: Manage onboarding processes and respond to related queries efficiently
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Training Coordinators, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar administration-based role including managing documentation, security, and filing systems, taking minutes, data analysis
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Office 365 with a solid grasp of document control systems
  • Attention to Detail: Precise and methodical in managing sensitive records
  • Strong Communication Skills: Capable of liaising effectively with team members and stakeholders
  • Proactivity: A “can-do” attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service

This is a temporary role working Full time Monday – Friday initially for a 4 – 6-week period.  You’ll be based on site in the Porthmadog area, and on an hourly rate in the region of £13 per hour + holiday pay whilst on assignment.
