Job Description

Are you an accomplished Production Supervisor seeking a fresh opportunity with an innovative environmental friendly manufacturing company?

We are looking for a full-time, hands on Production Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing site, nestled in the picturesque surroundings of the North East Coast of the stunning Isle of Anglesey. Join their team and lead the way in manufacturing excellence!

You will be responsible for running the production plant, including planning, coordinating, and monitoring production to ensure efficiency, timely order completion, and quality compliance. This role involves setting up and maintaining production lines, managing materials, and optimizing workflow.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • ⁠⁠Develop and maintain production schedules.
  • ⁠Set up and oversee production lines for efficiency and minimal downtime.
  • ⁠Track progress, resolve delays, and manage work orders.
  • Liaise with stores, purchasing, and sales.
  • ⁠Maintain ERP/MRP systems.
  • ⁠Drive process improvements and Lean initiatives.
  • ⁠Generate reports on efficiency, costs, and performance.

In this pivotal role, your daily presence on the production floor is essential. You will be the first to arrive, efficiently delegating tasks for a smooth operation on the factory floor for the day ahead.

We would love to see your CV if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in production planning and manufacturing (specifically plastic extrusion)
  • Knowledge of production lines and MRP systems.
  • ⁠Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Understanding of Lean principles (5S, Six Sigma).
  • Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
  • Supervision / leadership skills and the ability to delegate
  • Time and priority management
  • Adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • Able to work under pressure to deadlines

This is a full time, permanent role based in Amlwch, offering a salary of up to £35,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
