In the Minibus Driver role you will be:
- Driving 16-seater minibuses safely and responsibly
- Providing transport for a variety of contracts across Conwy
- Safely transport children to and from school, including morning pick-ups from home and afternoon drop-offs back home
- Supporting private travel bookings, tours and other passenger transport
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept safe and presentable
- Providing a friendly and professional service to passengers
To be successful, you will need:
- A full driving licence with D1 entitlement
- A valid Driver CPC
- Previous minibus or passenger transport experience is desirable
- A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
- The ability to complete an Enhanced DBS check, or already be on the update service
The position is initially temporary with a view to becoming permanent for the right candidate. Starting early November, the successful candidate will be working up to 15 hours per week, Monday–Friday on split shifts: 7:30am–9:00am and 2:30pm–4:30pm. Based in Llandudno/Llanfairfechan, with travel across Conwy and occasional work from other depots.
You'll be on a pay rate of up to £15 per hour, depending on experience, plus weekly pay and holiday accrual whilst on assignment.
