We're recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team based in Bangor, Gwynedd. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous accounts experience, or an individual looking to further develop their career within finance.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, with responsibilities including:
- Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
- Preparing supplier payments and reconciling supplier statements
- Completing bank reconciliations and monitoring day-to-day financial transactions
- Supporting month-end and year-end finance processes
- Assisting with management accounts preparation, reporting and financial administration
- Processing expenses, petty cash and supporting payroll administration when required
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and colleagues across the business
We would love to see your CV if you have:
- Previous experience within an accounts or finance environment, knowledge of Xero would be advantageous, although not essential
- Accuracy and detail-focused
- Able to work to deadlines and manage priorities effectively
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach
- Professional and confident when communicating with others
- Interested in developing a long-term career in finance
In return, you will receive a full time, permanent position with a competitive salary of circa £27,000 per annum, alongside the opportunity to develop your career within a growing and successful business.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, although the role will offer flexible working arrangements, with core hours in place.
