In the Events Co-ordinator role, you will be:
- Planning and delivering recruitment events including Open Days, Applicant Days, school/college events and virtual sessions
- Coordinating venues, schedules, staffing, communications and resources to ensure successful events
- Working with internal teams, schools, colleges and external partners to support engagement activities
- Creating event plans, timelines and supporting materials, as well as completing post-event reviews
- Supporting marketing activity, registrations, feedback gathering and accurate record keeping
To be successful, you will need:
- Experience working with young people, education, communities or in a customer-focused environment
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive approach with the confidence to use initiative and work independently
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital platforms, with flexibility to support occasional evening/weekend events
- The ability to drive would be an advantage due to the travel to various locations and events
This role would suit someone with a background in education, school liaison, youth work, community engagement or student support, who is organised, proactive and enjoys building relationships.
This is a temporary role until September 2026, working full time (37 hours per week, Monday–Friday).
You'll be based in Wrexham, travelling to various places with occasional weekend events (time off in lieu provided).
Hourly rate starting from £14.00 per hour (depending on experience), plus benefits including weekly pay and holiday accrual.
