Job Description

Are you a hands-on, supply management technician looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving production facility based near Caernarfon where your technical expertise and proactive mindset will help keep operations running smoothly, supporting a busy Technical team within the food manufacturing sector. This role focuses on supplier approval, ingredient compliance, and quality assurance, ensuring all documentation and processes meet BRC requirements.

As a Supply Management Technician your Key Responsibilities will be to: 

  • Compile, review, and maintain supplier approval documentation and databases

  •  Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to obtain ingredient, allergen, HACCP, BRC, and sustainability documentation

  • Inspect, receipt, and label ingredients delivered to site, ensuring accurate system entry

  • Manage and maintain ingredient and packaging specifications, highlighting and communicating changes

  • Respond to specification-related queries

  • Support product dispatch QA checks including traceability, labelling, and quality standards

  • Provide cover for QA duties during holidays and absences

  • Assist with audits and general technical administration

As a Supply Management Technician you will need: 

  • Previous experience within the food industry

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data handling

  • Confident IT skills

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Experience with supplier approval processes

  • Knowledge of BRC standards and audits

  • Food Safety or HACCP qualifications
