Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Faculty Business Management Coordinator to support the Acting Head of Faculty Business Management and Faculty Leadership Teams. This role provides critical operational and business management support across multiple Faculties, liaising with central professional services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and ongoing business
continuity.

In the Faculty Coordinator role, you will be:
  • Serve as first point of contact for Faculty Business Management enquiries from leadership teams, colleagues, and professional services.
  • Provide coordination and secretarial support for Faculty Leadership Team meetings, committees, and project boards.
  • Assist with preparation of reports, papers, and follow-up actions from meetings.
  • Maintain efficient systems for business management activities, including data collation and accurate record-keeping.
  • Support health and safety coordination, business continuity planning, operational risk management, and asset/insurance activities.
  • Facilitate Faculty-level communications, student engagement, NSS support, and retention activities.
  • Coordinate Faculty responses to FOIs and policy/procedural updates.
  • Provide administrative support for development projects, recruitment events, and staff development schedules.
  • Ensure confidentiality and maintain professional communication both internally and externally.
  •  Undertake additional duties commensurate with grade and experience.

To be considered for the Faculty Coordinator role you must have:
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Highly organised, able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, leading on activities and projects.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a busy, demanding environment.
  • Competent IT skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Confident in secretarial duties including agenda setting, papers collation, and accurate minute taking.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data and reporting.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
  • Degree-level education or relevant demonstrable work experience.
  • Experience providing administrative support for business management and leadership activity.
This is a temporary full time role for a period of 6 months. Working Monday – Friday 37 hours per week and offering an hourly rate of £15.50 + holiday pay. This role is based in Wrexham.
