In the Occupational Therapist role, you will be:
- Delivering direct Occupational Therapy support to people with disabilities.
- Working with parents, carers and families to develop resilience and promote independence.
- Completing screening assessments and making recommendations for appropriate interventions.
- Carrying out safeguarding activity where required.
- Ensuring individuals and their families are at the centre of decision-making about their care and desired outcomes.
To be successful, you will need:
- A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification (minimum 3 years post-qualified).
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in manual handling and relevant training.
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in technology and relevant software systems.
This is a temporary role for initially 12 weeks, working part time, 23 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You'll have a hybrid model of working based between Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay and home (following initial training).
You'll be starting on a salary of £20.48 per hour plus benefits including weekly pay and holiday accrual.
