Are you a hands-on, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving production facility based near  Caernarfon where your technical expertise and proactive mindset will help keep operations running smoothly.

Working as part of a close-knit maintenance team and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring essential equipment performs at its best — Minimising downtime, improving efficiency, and contributing to continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting production line start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers to maximise uptime
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to boost performance and reliability
  • Assisting with energy reduction projects and promoting high safety and GMP standards
  • Working collaboratively with production teams to help deliver the daily plan

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Qualified in a relevant engineering discipline with at least 2–3 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in food production or FMCG would certainly be an advantage
  • Strong electrical and/or mechanical skills — knowledge of pneumatics, controls, and schematic reading desirable
  • Awareness of HACCP, IOSH, and COSHH
  • Excellent communication skills, IT literate, and confident working both independently and as part of a team
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and safety-focused with great problem-solving ability

In return you are going to receive a competitive annual salary around £46,000 (DOE), plus overtime opportunities, up to 30 days’ holiday per year, free on-site parking, Staff discounts and development opportunities all whilst working with a supportive, forward-thinking team environment
