Your responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a skilled workshop team on a variety of fabrication and welding projects
- Using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques, along with plasma and gas cutting tools
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions
- Fabricating metal components to precise specifications and tight tolerances
- Applying your problem-solving skills and hands-on experience to produce high-quality, durable results
- Contributing to both restoration and new-build projects in a dynamic workshop environment
- Maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
We are keen to hear from you if you have the following:
- NVQ Level 2 or above in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent)
- Skilled in MIG, TIG and ARC welding (plasma and oxy cutting = bonus!)
- Confident reading and working from drawings or verbal instructions
- Experience manufacturing to tight tolerances
- Self-motivated, organised, and a great communicator
- Basic IT skills
- Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential
This is a full time permanent position working 40 hours per week (with the occasional weekend), easily commutable from Bangor, Caernarfon, and Porthmadog. In return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £27,560 per annum depending on experience, plus a range of company benefits.
