In the Team Manager - Children, Families & Safeguarding role, you will be:
- Assisting the Section Manager in overseeing the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team
- Providing effective leadership, supervision and performance management to ensure high-quality casework and service delivery
- Driving cases to meet children’s needs within statutory timescales and ensuring robust protection and support mechanisms are in place
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to deliver an effective ‘front door’ safeguarding service for children and adults
- Monitoring, collating and evaluating performance data to support service planning and statutory reporting
To be successful in the Social Care Team Manager role, you will need:
- Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Proven experience in Child Protection and Section 47 procedures
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident use of technology and case management systems
This is a full time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a temporary basis of initially 12 weeks (with a review to be extended).
You'll be starting on an hourly rate of £32.64 per hour, and you'll be based from offices in Colwyn Bay, but commuting throughout Conwy.
