In this unique position you will play an integral role in supporting the North Wales Corporate Joint Committee. Leading on administrative arrangements for the team ensuring data collection, minute taking, processing invoices, and acting as a first point of contact within the team.

As Corporate Support Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative assistance to ensure that projects and tasks are delivered.
  • Arranging and supporting meetings including agreeing agendas, minute taking and action tracking.
  • Managing diaries and arranging meetings including invites, technology, venues, catering, printing, photocopying and disseminating meeting papers.
  • Establishing, maintaining and managing effective administrative systems,
  • Supporting the coordination of Freedom of information and data management.
  • Preparing and providing information for internal use and for external partners which align with the approved brand guidelines.
  • Processing and managing orders and invoices.
  • Assisting with communications and marketing activities across the team.
  • Dealing with and prioritising correspondence.

We’re looking for a Corporate Support Officer with:

  • Experience of working in an administrative/secretarial role.
  • Experience of dealing with enquiries effectively and promptly.
  • Experience of arranging meetings and events.
  • Experience of assisting teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Experience working within local government
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Ability to produce high quality work while working to a tight timetable.
  • Written skills and the ability to take minutes in meetings and note action points.
  • Demonstrate an eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks.

The team have adopted a hybrid working model with a mix of Llandudno Junction office based and home working. In return, you will receive a salary of £28,598 - £31,022 per annum plus membership of the local government pension scheme and generous annual leave entitlement. This is a full-time role with Ambition North Wales; however, we will consider flexible working requests for the right person. This is a 2 year contract.
