We’re recruiting for a proactive and organised individual to join a well-established company as part of their IT Service Desk team on a short-term temporary basis. This role will support the smooth running of IT systems and provide key assistance to store teams across the business.
In the IT Support Administrator role, you will be:
- Coordinating the dispatch and return of audiometer calibration kits between stores and suppliers
- Updating and maintaining a web-based asset management system, following recent company-wide changes
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls with in-store colleagues to log issues using the Support Ticketing System (providing basic first-line support)
- Managing the distribution and receipt of tech devices and accessories to and from retail locations
- Supporting stock control processes and assisting with IT asset audits
- Assisting with the installation and configuration of operating systems and Microsoft applications
- Providing general maintenance and support for IT hardware
- Supporting IT project rollouts, such as PDQ terminal and PC replacements
To be considered for the IT Support Administrator role, you will need:
- Previous experience within a 1st line IT support role or similar
- A good working knowledge of general IT hardware and how different systems interconnect
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365
- Comfortable carrying out basic IT administrative tasks, including software installations, updates, and configurations
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage tasks independently
This is a temporary role, for the period of around 5 weeks. The payrate is £13.50 + per hour depending on previous skills and experience. Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am until 5:00pm, based in the organisations head office near Llandudno.
