Caretaker

We are currently seeking an experienced Caretaker to manage cleaning, maintenance and general health and safety across several locations across Gwynedd and Anglesey

In the Caretaker role, you will be:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of all communal, staff, and external areas, including public toilets and the visitors' room
• Assisting the Scheme Manager with caretaking duties, managing on-site activities, and ensuring effective property management
• Performing and recording health and safety checks and take on additional responsibilities in the Scheme Manager’s absence
• Supporting residents with heating, hot water, laundry use, and assist vulnerable tenants with rubbish disposal

To be considered for the Caretaker role, you must have:

• Previous experience within a Caretaking or similar role
• The ability to promote and maintain a positive attitude and image at all times
• Experienced in COSHH, manual handling, and dealing with biohazard procedures
• Experience of cleaning and maintaining high standards
  
• Full UK drivers’ licence and access to own vehicle due to the nature of the role (desirable)

This is a full-time temporary vacancy working 35 hours per week, working Monday – Friday. The role is being offered on a temporary basis for a 6 - 8 week period initially The roles offer a hourly pay rate of £11.44 per hour plus any accrued holiday time whilst on the assignment.
