Job Description

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking for a new opportunity?

Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join their dynamic team based in modern offices on the beautiful isle of Anglesey that will also offer the flexibility of hybrid working.

In this key role, you will manage and maintain the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful analysis to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
  • Compliance, ensuring the company’s financial practices adhere to GAAP, tax laws, industry standards, and internal financial policies
  • Keeping accurate, detailed, and organised records of financial transactions, receipts, and invoices
  • Audit preparation, supporting both internal and external audits by providing requested documentation
  • Analysing financial data to identify trends, provide insights, and support management decisions
  • Budgeting & Forecasting, assisting with budget preparation, forecasts, and identifying potential cost savings
  • Performing regular reconciliations of financial accounts including bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable
  • Utilising accounting software to streamline processes
  • Communicating with Stakeholders, presenting financial information to management, auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies

If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • Previous experience in a similar Accountant role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Chartered or Management qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations
  • Experience with financial software (QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team

This is a full-time, permanent vacancy, working Monday – Friday offering a flexible working arrangement with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week. In return they are offering a competitive salary of between £38,000 to £44,000 per annum depending on skills and experience plus company benefits.
