Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting investigations into disciplinary matters, such as misconduct, policy violations, and poor performance
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather evidence and assess situations thoroughly
- Providing guidance to managers on disciplinary procedures, ensuring fairness and adherence to policies
- Facilitating disciplinary meetings, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Mediating disputes between employees and management for mutually beneficial outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Relevant experience in a similar field
- Diploma in Management, CIPD qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience in employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution, preferably within a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, and resolve conflicts effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
- Please note this role is subject to a basic DBS disclosure
This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract (to be reviewed), working 22.2 hours, 3 days per week starting on a salary of £40,000 per annum (pro rata). You’ll be based in offices in St Asaph with a potential of some agile working when requested.
