In the Procurement & Finance Assistant job, you will be responsible for:
- Managing procurement activities by identifying business needs, coordinating engagement with our procurement consultant to ensure processes are adhered to, and opportunities are maximised; this includes the development, implementation, and management of the procurement plan
- Promoting the importance of procurement across the business and best practice through continuous improvement so that procurement processes are effective in delivering objectives
- Looking to utilise and manage an e-procurement solution for specific projects ensuring all projects are advertised sufficiently
- Coordination and collation of supplier contracts, T&Cs, and copy invoices
- Supporting monthly reports which evidence successful delivery of procurement activities
- Actively promoting and embedding Sustainability, Community benefits, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) in your work
- Maintaining an accurate database of supplier contact information, processing the return of goods back to suppliers and ensuring all purchase orders are inputted into the system accurately
- Working closely with the Accounts Team following query resolution
- Provision and analysis of supplier spend
To be considered for the Procurement & Finance Assistant job, you will need:
- Previous experience in an accounts / finance position
- Hold a relevant qualification at level 3 (advantage)
- Experience of proven success working in a similar role
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong engagement and relationship management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Candidates working toward CIPS Qualifications will be supported
This is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role is based in Llanrwst and is on a salary of £18,525 - £21,000 depending on skills and experience, plus a range of employee benefits.
