Job Description

A North Wales based company providing over 6000 quality homes to over 14,000 local customers are seeking a Land Management Officer to assist in the management of the Land & Estates section within their busy Assets Team.

As a Land Management Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) policy and procedures for your work base
  • Assisting with the Land Management Strategy
  • Land Registry, Boundary Disputes, Easements & Rights of Way
  • Allotments, grazing, ground rent/leases
  • Land Sales, TPO enquiries and Planning/Demolition applications
  • Tendering and Managing Schemes
  • Utilities information, issues, and requests in regard to adopted drainage, water mains, electric supplies, gas supplies and telecommunication.
  • Providing technical advice to the team
  • Maintaining and implementing IT systems in relation to land management
  • Land registry issues

The ideal Land Management Officer will have the following skills and experience:

  • ONC/OND or HND/HNC level in building related subject
  • Proven experience in surveying, preparation of accurate reports and working within the social housing sector or similar
  • Proven experience in working on land and estate management.
  • Proven experience working with various service providers / contractors.
  • Have good technical knowledge of land and estate management issues such as changes in legislation, planning and best practices.
  • Have extensive understanding and working knowledge of IT systems.
  • Have excellent time management, high levels of customer service satisfaction and excellent communication skills.
  • Able to communicate both written and verbal in Welsh fluently
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the nature of the role.

This is a temporary, full time role based in Bangor, North Wales for approximately 3 months, with a pay rate of £14.00 plus holiday pay.
