Job Description

Supertemps are working with an award-winning manufacturer, who pride themselves on being at the forefront of innovation and have an established reputation for producing bespoke products.

As our client are expanding rapidly, they now have an opportunity for a Maintenance / Process Manager who will become the point of contact for maintenance and process development on the site, based near Caernarfon, North Wales.

As the Maintenance / Process Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the high-quality and safety of all products produced and maintaining BRC accreditation
  • Participating in the development of new and existing site operations
  • Developing and delivering planned as well as unscheduled maintenance work
  • Engaging, managing and monitoring site contractors
  • Provide advice, training and recommendations for employees to maximise machine productivity minimising risks to health and safety, downtime and food safety
  • Identify and resolve areas of inefficiency and waste
  • Work closely with all areas of the business and senior management
  • Carry out risk assessments, and maintenance procedures
  • Managing the commissioning and testing of new equipment and machinery
  • Contributing to the HACCP program as required.
  • Assisting with other areas of the business when necessary.
  • Helping support with investigations regarding customer complaints, non-conformances and defects.

We are keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a Maintenance Manager role within the food industry
  • Previous experience working in a BRC accredited food manufacturing environment
  • Food safety and health & safety knowledge and qualifications
  • HACCP knowledge and experience
  • Skilled trade background or qualifications
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
