Job Description
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service have a brand-new opportunity within their Corporate Planning department, offering a range of excellent company benefits.

As Corporate Planning and Performance Analyst, you will be part of a small, friendly team based at their Head Office in St Asaph, however, staff are currently working remotely/from home due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with the ability to continue agile working in the future.

In the Corporate Planning and Performance Analyst role, you will be:
  • Working mainly with information on emergency incidents and providing research and analytical advice and support across the Service to meet internal and external requirements
  • Provide quality assurance of data and performance information and specialising in data extraction and manipulation, data quality, statistical and performance analysis and presentation of results ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
  • Supporting the Corporate Planning Manager to deliver the Service’s corporate planning framework with the provision of performance monitoring, including benchmarking exercises against other Fire and Rescue Services
The ideal candidate for the Corporate Planning and Performance Analyst job will have:
  • Previous experience working within a similar role including report writing, data handling, research, investigation, analysis and balanced interpretation as well as enhanced analytical skills
  • An ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and contribute to the Service’s collaborations and partnerships with other organisations
  • The flexibility to respond when priorities change and be able to work at pace to meet deadlines
  • A very high standard of accuracy and take pride in getting the detail right
  • Computer literate, with a working knowledge of performance management systems, Microsoft Office applications and Crystal Reports
  • A current valid UK driving licence and the ability and willingness to travel as and when required
  • Level 2 Welsh: speaking and listening - the ability to hold a simple conversation in Welsh is essential for these positions
This is a permanent vacancy, working 37 hours per week on an annual salary of £24,982 – £27,741 per annum plus company benefits.
