Job Description
 

An exciting opportunity for an accounts assistant from a manufacturing background to join a growing employer who places great emphasis on staff investment and development. Joining a team of six you will be supported but will have responsibility for your own duties within the role. 



This growing manufacturer based on Wrexham Industrial Estate and are wildly known for their excellent client service and staff retention. Beginning its life back in the early 1900s this company quickly developed a reputation for providing excellent service and as such continued to expand its product line to meet demand and supply to a wider network whilst obtaining a number of awards along the way.



As an accounts assistant your role will entail;

 
  • Maintaining company databases to ensure bills of material, labour and distribution and product costings are accurately reflected
  • To be responsible for accurately costing new products
  • To monitor and ensure movements through the supply chain are correct in relations to material received
  • To maintain a high standard of accuracy of purchasing and invoice transactions
  • Providing accounts support to the wider team

I am keen to speak to anyone with the following skills or experience

 
  • Accounts experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous knowledge of Bill of materials or inventory control
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems

Accounts candidates who are part qualified or studying AAT / CIMA would be considered for future study support within this role.

An excellent salary package of £20,000 - £25,000 is offered for this role alongside the following benefits; 24 days holiday + bank holiday, company sick pay, subsidised canteen and free on-site parking. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday 8 am - 5.30pm.

This person would be responsible for the role however the team manager is supportive.

It’s a busy work environment but very enjoyable and a good team to work in. There are 6 in the team in total.

 

Hours of work 8am – 5.30pm

 

No Christmas shutdown.
