Administrator - Events job, Conwy, North Wales
 
Are you known for your organisation skills? We are looking for a super-organised, super-accurate super-communicator for a role working in a friendly team in modern offices close to the A55. The company is a highly reputable industry leader who is expanding with new projects and new clients and believes in promoting from within. This role would give you a diverse mix of day to day responsibilities dealing with all aspects of venue finding and securing.
 
In the Administrator - Events job, Conwy, North Wales you will be:
  • liaising with external and internal clients in receiving project briefs and delivering appropriate solutions
  • researching and liaising with hotels, venues and suppliers and obtain appropriate options and quotations
  • preparing proposal documentation for submission to the client
  • managing budgets and related documentation including post-event reconciliation
  • negotiating venue contracts on client confirmation and checking for accuracy
  • maintaining and monitoring a schedule of confirmed events
  • providing rooming lists and meeting specifications
  • arranging hotel pre-payments
 
To be successful in the Administrator - Events job, Conwy, North Wales you will need:
  • to be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • demonstrable experience in administration requiring a high level of attention to detail, ideally working with contracts
  • excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, including grammar and spelling
  • the ability to gather, sort and present data
  • strong numeracy and record keeping skills
This is a full-time permanent position working typically Monday – Friday 9 am-5:30 pm at the company head office which is based close to the A55 and commutable from across North Wales. A salary of up to £18000 is on offer based on your skills and experience, as well as: a discretionary company-wide bonus scheme; 25 days holiday/year plus bank holidays; company pension; private healthcare; and internal and external training and development opportunities.
