A brand-new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Grounds worker / Grass Cutter, to assist the Facilities Response team in the grass cutting of different sites and dealing with green waste throughout Conwy County.

In the Grounds Worker / Grass Cutter role you will be:

• Carrying out a wide range of general gardening and grounds duties in public areas including allotments, and other green spaces across Conwy
• Carrying out manual work and to assist with general gardening duties such as grass cutting and strimming, clearance of leaves and litter, general maintenance
• Operating a range of groundwork related equipment

The successful candidate for the Grounds Worker / Grass Cutter will need to have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Physically fit due to the nature of the role and happy to work outdoors in all weathers
• Current Lantra certificates for machine operation
• Driving Licence and access to a vehicle to travel to different sites

This is a temporary vacancy, available on a week-by-week basis with a competitive hourly pay rate of up to £10.00 per hour and holiday pay. Working full time hours (typically between 7am – 7pm Monday – Friday).
