In the Payroll Manager job, you will be:

  • Running and developing the payroll functions of the organisation
  • Managing the payroll team and department 
  • Processing and maintaining records, setting up new employees and administering records for new starters and leavers
  • Calculating wages, tax and NI commitments, deductions and distributing weekly & monthly wages
  • Responding to payroll enquiries and liaising with clients and HMRC
  • Undertaking other admin/accounting/financial tasks as and when required

To be considered for the Payroll Manager job, you will need:

  • Strong payroll experience with knowledge of accounting principles 
  • Ability to manage payroll and a small team
  • Previous experience working with / within payroll bureau
  • Financial and analytical experience
  • Knowledge of CIS, auto enrolment, monthly and weekly payroll
  • IT skills with experience of various accounting software packages
  • Good attention to detail and ability to think on your feet

This is a permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. The role is based in Colwyn Bay and is on a salary of up to £35k per annum depending on skills and experience PLUS, benefits which include holidays, pension, parking, along with the opportunity to work within a fun & friendly team in modern offices!
