In this Legal Secretary job you will be:
- Providing secretarial support to solicitors and other team members
- Managing diaries and arranging appointments for clients to see solicitors
- Assisting Practice Manager with monthly file reviews
- Working as part of a team to ensure effective secretarial cover is maintained
- Typing of letters, attendance notes and bills from digital dictation, and monitoring and replying to emails from within the firm or outside organisations
- Dealing with administration duties for solicitors as required
- Speaking to clients to assist where possible or taking messages for solicitors if not available
To be a successful applicant for the Legal Secretary job, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar admin based role
- Audio-typing to 60wpm – with speedy accurate keyboard skills
- RSA typing qualification (preferable)
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of using a Case Management System
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Friendly and professional telephone manner
This is a permanent role working full time Monday – Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm, and Friday 9.00am – 4.00pm with 1 hour lunch break. You'll be based in their offices in Colwyn Bay and in return you will receive a competitive salary plus employee benefits.
