Job Description

One of the leading educational establishments in North Wales, has an opportunity for a team Bilingual Admissions Administrators to join its friendly team based in Bangor on a temporary contract.

Working in the busy admissions team, you will be supporting the the learning services department to provide guidance, information, maintaining records and supporting recruitment events. 

As a Bilingual Admissions Administrator your main responsibilities will be:

  • Contacting Applicants via phone, email and/or sms messaging to provide guidance on the next step of their application process
  • Responding to calls from applicants, answering the queries and signposting as appropriate.
  • Update, process and maintain student records on the management information system.
  • Support recruitment events.
  • Carry out any other related duties as requested.

We are really keen to see your CV if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Experience within an administrative role including handling confidential information.
  • Excellent communication and personal skills to work effectively with students and staff through the medium Welsh and English.
  • Educated to level 3 with a good general standard of education to include GCSE at Grade C, or above, in English, or equivalent e.g. Key Skills.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office and google suite.
  • Ability to work as a team member and be flexible, adaptable and approachable.
  • Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure.
  • Ability to cope with a range of tasks at any one time and prioritise workload accordingly.

This is a full-time role working Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week. In exchange, you will receive a pay rate of between £9.77 - £10.05 per hour plus holiday pay. (Dependent on experience) This is a Temporary position up until October 31st 2021
