Job Description

One of North Wales' tourist and leisure organisations is seeking an experienced Senior Chef to join and lead its expanding team becoming an integral part of its latest exciting new development. 

If you have a passion for food, the hospitality industry and providing outstanding customer service then we want to hear from you!  Our client believes in looking after its staff, and unlike many other roles within the catering and hospitality industry no split shifts!

To be a successful Senior Chef you will have the following skills and experience:

  • The ability to manage, motivate, and lead the kitchen team
  • Producing high quality, delicious, meals, optimising profits across the site
  • Seasonal menu design and event planning, demonstrating your creative flair
  • Someone who has true passion for food
  • Constantly working with the guest in mind, and always looking for ways to make the dining experience even more memorable
  • Flexible and able to work across all sections of their kitchen, to support the team and the kitchen as much as possible
  • Calm and collected in all situations
  • A professional that strives for excellence in all areas of their kitchen
  • Prior Senior Chef experience
  • Demonstrable knowledge of areas such as COSHH, HSE at Work, EHO requirements, Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness
  • Operation, stock control and management of all purchases across the kitchen

This is a permanent full-time vacancy working 5 days out of 7 which will include weekends and bank holidays, working hours typically 40 per week. In exchange you will receive a competitive salary of £21,000 - £25,000 per annum depending on experience and skill.
