Job Description
Develop in your career in this newly created Assistant Health & Safety Advisor role where you will be supporting a leading organisation ensuring that your contribution promotes a strong health and safety culture.

In the Assistant Health & Safety Advisor job, you will be:
  • Coordinating the administrative arrangements for all aspects of health and safety across the organisation including health checks, accreditation/awards, audit templates and schedules for developments and maintenance
  • Administering assessments, inspections and audits completed by the Health and Safety team and drafting health and safety policy and procedures
  • Acting as the minute secretary and recording meetings for the Health & Safety Committees and other service Managers
  • Monitoring KPI’s and preparing reports
  • Coordinating the health and safety arrangements in relation to fire wardens, elected health and safety representatives and first aiders.
To be considered for the Assistant Health & Safety Advisor job you must have:
  • Degree level of education or relevant workplace experience
  • NEBOSH general Certificate and National Diploma or commitment to study to obtain relevant qualification(s)
  • Experience of conducting research and drafting reports, business documents and procedures
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar Health and Safety role
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office packages (Work, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent planning, prioritising and organising skills
  • Possession of numerical & analytical skills with strong Accuracy and attention to detail in data entry
  • Full UK Driving Licence with the use of a vehicle for business purposes
This is a full time, permanent role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This role is starting on an annual salary of £22,582 pa (depending on skills and experience) plus company benefits. 
The role will be based at their offices however due to current circumstances; this role enables remote working however the ability to travel to their offices as and when, will be required.
