Job Description
 As the Marine Engineer your role will include research, conceptualising, sourcing, designing, tendering, evaluating bids and will assist/oversee the approval of final systems, appointment of contractors, design & fabrication and the installation process.

You will be responsible for:

  • Develop and assess concepts for all infrastructure including, foundations,umbilical, connections & tethers
  • Develop suitable procedures for the installation, foundation, connections and umbilical.
  • Provide input and contribute to the work of the Procurement Evaluation Board in their evaluation of potential bids.
  • Provide input and contribute to the team ensuring overall success and long-term viability of the marine infrastructure and kite systems.

You will need the following experience and Qualifications:

  • Graduate in either mechanical, structural/civil or marine engineering disciplines or equivalent.
  •  You will need to be experienced in developing offshore and subsea installations, subsea and offshore/Marine Engineering, design and installation of systems
  •  You will have knowledge and experience of subsea templates, mooring & anchoring systems, subsea umbilical and cables.
  • Experience of diver and ROV installation operations.
