Job Description

S2 Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to join our industry leading client based in St Asaph. As the successful application, you will be joining an innovative and creative IT solutions provider that offers a full service product range to their international clientele. In this role, you will combine your project management and planning skills to provide a first class customer service experience whilst managing service issues. This could range from a number of network management issues across a portfolio of Cisco, SolarWinds, NetXMS, HP Procurve, Ruckus, Meraki, Polycom and Mitel. 

This vacancy offers a salary up to £21,000 depending on experience and further company benefits which include pension, healthcare, life assurances, 25 days holidays, childcare vouchers and more. This role will be based in St Asaph. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
 
- Responsive actions across 1st & 2nd line technical issues.
- Continual management of both voice and data network backups to reduce the organisational impact of hardware failure. 
- Clearly and effectively create product documentation, reports and diagrams 
- Installation, maintenance and testing of server load balancing, voice, video and data services 
- Operate under an ITIL process
- Full service management within the fault finding process from initial reporting, to resolution and customer satisfaction
 
Ideal Candidate: 
 
- Educated to a degree standard within an IT field or similar IT qualification with relevant experience. 
- Cisco CCNA qualification would be ideal with knowledge surrounding Cisco CCNP. 
- Outstanding customer service skills including confident written and oral communication 
- Previous experience within an IT or networking environment 
- Analytical and detail orientated individual who can spot the difference in the minor details 
- Understanding of project management principles with knowledge of Prince2
