Security Officer Job, Holyhead, Anglesey
 
A temporary opportunity has arisen for a security officer to work as part of a wider security team providing visible presence to deter potential criminal activity and to secure the premises, property and personnel of the client. As you will be working directly with the customer as part of a team to deliver an outstanding service, it is imperative you are able to work closely with your fellow colleagues to ensure members of the public comply with site rules and guidance.
 
In the Security Officer Job, Holyhead, Anglesey you will be responsible for:
  • Patrolling, securing and monitoring premises & vehicles, ensuring buildings, valuables or people are safe and secure.
  • Service area barrier control and traffic management by directing drivers, monitoring parking, access points and permitting entry.
  • Maintaining environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
  • Acting as first line support to visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service.
  • Checking in guests as and when required using the company IT System.
  • End of day cashing up.
  • Site Maintenance. (Litter picking, Emptying Bins and Gardening duties) 
  • Any Ad-hoc duties required
To be successful in the Security Officer Job, Holyhead, Anglesey you will: 
  • Have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Be IT Literate.
  • Have a professional demeanor with sound judgement and integrity.
  • Be able to remain calm in a stressful environment with the ability to diffuse a situation before it gets out of control.
  • Be Flexible to adapt to operational needs.
  • Must be able to work night shifts and weekends.
  • Be reliable and punctual.
  • Have experience in working in a Customer Focused role, be Self Motivated and have Team Spirit. 
First Aid Trained - Desirable not essential
SIA Licence - Desirable not essential
  Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage
 
The Site is open 24/7 on a 4 on/4 off rota. Initially during the training period it will be 8 hours a day in shifts of 2 pm - 10 pm and 10 pm - 6 am, moving to cover the 24 hour period once fully trained. This assignment is up until the end of March with the possibility of an extension on a month by month basis with a salary of £7.83 p/h plus holiday pay.
