Project Administrator job, Colwyn Bay, North Wales

Do you want to be part of an exciting initiative to reshape local business across the coast of Conwy?  Our client is looking for a permanent full-time project administrator to help support its growing team in this beautiful part of North Wales.

You will need to be professional and pro-active in undertaking your administrative, financial and project-related tasks as you'll be providing the key office support to the company management team in delivering the business objectives.

In the Project Administrator job, Colwyn Bay, North Wales you will be:

  • Providing a full range of administrative and operational support to the project manager
  • Arranging and attending meetings and taking minutes during meetings
  • Managing and updating the company database
  • Looking after and updating the company website and social media channels
  • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of newsletters, reports and bulletins
  • Providing high levels of customer service
  • Assisting with the company’s finances, always ensuring invoices are processed correctly and the appropriate financial records are maintained

To succeed in the Project Administrator job, Colwyn Bay, North Wales you will need:

  • Previous demonstrable experience in a similar project assistant / administrative role
  • The ability to take accurate, formal minutes during meetings
  • The ability to produce timely and insightful reports
  • A strong customer focus, and enjoy working with people
  • To be highly IT literate, with an interest in digital / social media and proven experience in managing / using databases
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
  • To be numerate with a good eye for detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a good telephone manner
  • The ability to work diligently under your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of financial accounting packages such as Sage (essential)
  • Knowledge of database software packages such as Access (desirable)

In return you will receive a competitive salary of £8.50 per hour with a view to increase to £9.00 an hour after completion of a successful probationary period as well as on-going training and development. 

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, and attend regular monthly evening meetings (on average 2 per month) to take minutes.
