Job Description

An expanding and well established industrial manufacturing company now have a unique opportunity for an Industrial Engineer to improve efficiency in the production processes and systems and reduce waste. 

As the Industrial Engineer, you will design production process controls including the deployment of ERP Systems controls that integrate all aspects of the business to ensure elimination of non-conforming outputs. 
 
Key areas of responsibility for this Industrial Engineer will include:  
  • Define and implement best practice with regard to ERP master material data management
  • Mange the full lifecycle of the part number creation process
  • Responsible and accountable for BOM & Routing management
  • Design control systems to minimise and resolve production issues and project costs
  • Perform statistical process control data analyst to determine process capability and system data accuracy.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous Manufacturing experience using ERP/MRP Systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Knowledge of production processes and their impacts to quality, cost, delivery and service control, raw materials and other methods for maximising the efficient manufacture and distribution of product
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical process control methodology
  • Ability to design efficient process controls
  • Knowledge of the ways various systems interact and how changes in operations, the environment and other conditions affect outcomes
  • Understand current/future advanced manufacturing techniques such as Additive manufacturing
  • Educated to degree level in an Engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial)
  • Consideration will be given to candidates with less industrial experience who have a strong potential
